Isn’t Easter a fun holiday? I love the aesthetic with all the bunnies and ducklings and pastels. I love this time of year, because you can often see ducklings around the neighborhood, waddling through the streets, not caring that they’re stopping traffic.
I always just stop and wait for them to cross. You have to make way for ducklings. It’s one of the first things they teach you.
The only downside to Easter is that our Disney World passes are always blocked out for a few weeks right around there. I tell myself I didn’t want to go then anyways, but it’s a lie. I always want to go to Disney World. Even when it’s crowded and miserable and their new policies are infuriating me…I still want to go.
I should probably find a new hobby. Maybe I could take up gambling at the casino. At then I’d have a small chance of earning my money back. At Disney World, you can only lose money.
This weekend, I’m hoping to have time to repaint our mural wall. It’s still a wintery scene at the moment and at this point, we’re probably best off skipping over spring and going straight for a summer vibe.
I’m really looking forward to summer this year. We’re gonna have ice cream and pool days and sunshine. I feel a bit like Olaf, really. Put me in summer and I’ll be a…happy snowman.
It’s been a really rough winter. Several days, it didn’t even get out of the sixties. It was horrible. I had to wear my teddy coat for nearly a whole week straight, so things were getting pretty serious.
Luckily, I think the coldest of days are over. And I’m ready for summer.
