I’ve always been tempted by the idea of blogging. After all, I like to write and I like to make money for doing normal everyday things. Although perhaps it’s the monetization part that’s harder than it seems.

Does anybody actually make any money blogging? In 2021? Asking for a friend…

I think the problem is that there is a limited amount of time one can type away talking about nothing with the full knowledge that no one is currently or ever likely to read it. On the one hand, you definitely don’t have to try as hard when you know no one is reading it. But on the other hand, what do you keep writing about when you know it’s just you? Alone with your own thoughts. Post after post.

At any rate, you’ll all be glad to hear that I’ve fully restored the community center and run JoJo Mart completely out of business. So it’s not like I’m not making progress on things. Cause I am.

One thing I struggle with, in writing novels, is that if I write them too late at night, then I stay up in bed continuing to plot and write it in my head. Does this happen to any of you?

It’s an odd problem, because generally speaking, I am probably the best sleeper in the entire world. Is there a thing where your body produces too much melatonin? If so, I may have it. I can sleep for literally hours at a time, with no side effects!

But if I try to write before bed, it gets much more difficult.

Part of the problem with blogging…

Sadly, the cat jumped into my lap just then and made me completely lose my train of thought. I’m sure the problem with blogging will return to me at some point.

Meanwhile, perhaps I’ll go to bed early. I’m suddenly feeling sleepy. It’s all that talk about melatonin.
