We spent the weekend at Disney World. I always feel so good going to Disney World, but so tired the first day after we get home.

We stayed out late at Magic Kingdom to watch the new Disney Enchantment fireworks show. I did not find it enchanting, sadly. They had a quality product with Happily Ever After. It wasn’t that old. Why change it if they didn’t have something better?

But the morning after we stayed out late, we had to wake up early to join the virtual queue for the Rat Ride. We got boarding group 24, which I was happy with. One time, we got boarding group 1 for Rise of the Resistance. It was probably our proudest moment and greatest accomplishment. It’s all downhill from there. We’ll never top that.

I didn’t find the Rat Ride enchanting either, sadly. It’s very similar to some rides at Universal that were very exciting ten years ago. But really, EPCOT needs all the rides it can get these days.

Between staying out late Saturday night and waking up early Sunday morning and walking 22,000 steps both days, my Monday has not been the most productive. I would have another cup of coffee, but my cat is sitting in my lap and she feels it would be contraindicated for me to get up at the moment. Maybe later.

In regard to writing news, I’ve nearly got my first query letter written and ready to send, but I haven’t sent it yet. I keep thinking of little details to change and wanting to reread the manuscript one more time. I’m not sure if this is because there are actual legitimate issues to fix and improvements to be made or if I’m just procrastinating and delaying the inevitable rejections.

There may be someone who finds an agent on the first try, but I bet it’s pretty rare. On second thought, I think I will have another cup of coffee. I bet the cat will understand.
